In a year full of unique challenges for business across the UK, leading bathroom retailer and valued We Influence customer Plumbworld is helping stem the tide of retail woe and is continuing to go from strength to strength.
As well as enjoying significant growth during 2020, the Evesham based business has recently seen its efforts rewarded with a prestigious industry award as well as being shortlisted by the Sunday Times as ‘one to watch’.
Plumbworld, the first bathroom retail specialist to launch online back in 1999, is now preparing for further growth in 2021 on the back of a record-breaking 2020 which has seen them achieve best ever results across all of their We Influence managed digital channels, reaching customers all over the UK through Google and other search engines along with adverts on social media.
And to cap an incredible twelve months, Plumbworld has also landed the ‘From Little to Large’ trophy at the 2020 eBay for Business Awards, beating off stiff competition to claim the award thanks to soaring success on the eBay platform where revenues have grown from £100,000 a month in 2017 to now over £1.2 million per month – an increase of over 1000 per cent.
Plumbworld was shortlisted among 32 innovative companies across 10 categories for the awards, which celebrate the best of British small and medium sized businesses, with each winner receiving £5,000 to boost their business.
“With the global pandemic, we’re finding that buyers are spending more time at home, they’re bringing their renovation projects forward and we’ve seen a huge increase in sales.” said Nick Dunkley, Trading Manager at Plumbworld.

Plumbworld, who opened its first eBay shop in 2004, was the first bathroom retail specialist to launch online and now enjoys a 99% feedback rating – the highest within the industry.
Hot on the heels of this award was confirmation that the Sunday Times had also shortlisted Plumbworld as ‘one to watch’ in their Fast Track 100 listings for the next twelve months.
