COVID-19 update: A message to all of our clients

We Influence is getting ready to put its running shoes on – to raise money for charity!

Next Thursday, May 7, We Influence staff will be joining forces with dozens of agencies from the Agency Leaders Network to run a marathon to try and raise £10k for charities battling against the effects of coronavirus.

Each agency has to register a 26.2 mile marathon run between as many of their staff members as possible.

All money raised will be split between Forever Manchester and the Manchester University NHS Trust. The agency group’s Just Giving Page has set a target for £5,000, with the Hoppy Trust pledging to match the full amount to hit the £10k mark.

Forever Manchester are seeking to help as many of our most vulnerable citizens as possible by organising food banks, mental health initiatives and checking on the most vulnerable while all money raised for the Manchester University NHS Trust will be used to pay for tablets so that patients can speak to their loved ones.

We Influence MD Graham Withe said: “These are tough times for everyone but especially for all those involved in the frontline fight against the virus. We Influence is pleased to be able to play our small part in helping to raise some much-needed money for these important charities.”

There’s still time for your agency to get involved – the more the merrier.

  • £10 per team member 💰
  • Divide 26.2 miles between your team and that is how far they each need to run on May 7 🏃
  • Quickest agency overall time will be declared the proud winner 🥇
  • Raise lots of much needed cash for charity 💷

If you want to be involved then there is still time – just email [email protected] with your team name and participants. They each need to track their time on a fitness app (Strava / Runkeeper etc) and then screenshot their time for ‘evidence’ purposes.

Or if you’re unable to take part then any sponsorship would be massively appreciated at: https://justgiving.com/fundraising/agency-leaders-network
