Content Marketing Executive

We Influence is a leading digital marketing agency based near Cheshire Oaks, just outside of Chester. We are a fast-growing digital agency looking for a Content Marketing Executive who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

We’ve got ambitious growth plans over the next few years and this position will play an integral part in formulating and delivering content strategies for our clients and support the growth of the Earned Media department.

The job

As Content Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for helping We Influence consistently deliver editorial content of exceptional quality, as as well as ensuring that content is being created to support the business objectives of the clients that We Influence works with. You will also play a key role in developing content strategies and ideas for brand building campaigns, as well as helping to deliver results across performance channels like SEO, PPC, CRO and Affiliates. There will also be a focus on helping deliver on the marketing strategy for We Influence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Writing optimised copy for a variety of purposes:
  • – Product / category pages
  • – Landing pages
  • – Articles
  • – Buying guides
  • – Whitepapers
  • Developing and maintaining content calendars across various clients
  • Playing a key role in the content ideation process and delivery of brand building campaigns
  • Maintaining client relationships through clear communication of work and results
  • Supporting the delivery of a content strategy for We Influence
Experience & skills

Essential:

  • Competent copywriter across a number of disciplines (B2B/B2C, blogs, product descriptions, whitepapers, etc)
  • Solid knowledge of PR/content marketing & its role in digital marketing
  • Basic understanding of on-page SEO (meta data, keywords, headers etc.)
  • Creative & strategic thinker
  • Excellent attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Experience in journalism and/or PR
  • Experience of industry analytics tools, e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, Buzzsumo
  • Knowledge of social media best practice
